Ken Blanchard Speaker Biography

Few people have impacted the day-to-day management of people and companies more than Ken Blanchard.

He co-authored the One Minute Manager Library, which includes The One Minute Manager (1982), Pulling the One Minute Manager to Work (1984), The One Minute Manager Meets The Monkey (1989), and The One Minute Manager Builds High Performing Teams (1990) has collectively sold more than nine million copies and has been translated into more than 20 languages.

Keynote speaker Ken Blanchard is chairman of Blanchard Training and Development Inc., a full service management consulting and training company which he founded in 1979 with his wife Marjorie. He has been a guest on a number of television programs including Good Morning America and the Today Show, and has been featured in Time, People, US News And World Report and a host of other popular publications. He is also a contributing editor of Quality Digest, Personal Selling Power and Executive Excellence Newsletter.

Blanchard earned his B.A. in government and philosophy from Cornell University, his M.A. in sociology and counseling from Colgate University and his Ph.D. in educational administration and leadership from Cornell University.
